1) Can I create a page on the site that only church members can access?

2) How can I add my site to search engines? Does it cost anything?
There are a number of search engines on the Internet. Some allow you to submit your site free of cost, while others charge a fee to have your site listed in their search. Webmedley does not submit your site to search engines. If you are interested in getting more information on how to submit to search engines, contact Customer Support, view our Ministry on the Web article that focuses on search engines , or visit the search engine pages you are interested in to get specific guidelines.

3) If we want to add additional features, can we do that later?
Yes. Simply contact Customer Support (1-800-434-8607 or support@webmedley.net) and we will help you add additional features to your site. Your billing will be adjusted accordingly.

4) Does the Guest Book count the number of people who visit the site?
No. The Guest Book only tracks the number of visitors who have submitted an entry into your Guest Book feature. This is entirely voluntary, and not all visitors to your site will submit comments through the Guest Book.

5) How do I get my 90 seconds of streamed video?
Simply record 90 seconds of video onto a regular VHS tape or digital camcorder. You will mail or email the video to us, and we will encode the video and load it to your site for you.

6) How do I delete old Guest Book entries?
In the "Manage Guest Book" section of the Management Console, you will see a "View" button next to the number of entries in your Guest Book. Click on the "View" button and then you will be able to delete Guest Book entries that you no longer need.

7) What versions of the Bible are on the Sacred Text Search? (Will there be more?)
Currently there is the King James Version, the New American Standard, and the Torah. Other versions have copyrights and require licenses to include them in a search. We may be adding more versions in the future, after obtaining licenses to do so.

8) What does a message board do?
A message board enables people visiting your site to "post" messages and responses. It allows for discussion without requiring that the site visitors be online simultaneously. Posts are public, so all visitors can view messages and replies and add their own. They are often used for announcements or topical discussions.

9) Will our site show up on our denomination's website?
If your denominational site has listing of websites, you may consider contacting them to have your new site listed in their directory. We do not manage each denomination's web site, so in order to be listed on their site you will need to contact your denominational offices directly.

10) How much does a custom header cost?

11) What are Meta Tags?
Meta Tags are used as part of a search engine to locate similar web sites. Keyword Meta Tags are used in keyword searches and Summary Meta Tags appear in search results to give a summary of your web site. Because they have been so abused in the past, very few search engines continue to use them today as a means of identifying the content for a web page or web site.

12) Why won't my calendar work?
It may not be installed correctly - if you do not see your calendar appear on your Calendar of Events page, contact Customer Support at support@webmedley.net and we will reinstall it for you.

13) When I go to my "Calendar of Events" edit page it says the info will show up automatically. How do I put events on my calendar?
You will need to click on the Calendar management folder, then click on "Manage Calendar". The calendar will appear and you will be able to click on either "Add an Event" or "Add a Recurring Event" to begin adding events to your calendar. You will not need to do anything on the "Calendar of Events" page under your Web Pages management folder.

14) Will you be adding new images to the Theme section?
Yes, we periodically add new images to the Theme section, as well as new designs, to the Webmedley Management Console. They will be added into your account automatically.

15) How do I edit calendar events?
In the Webmedley Management Console, click on the Calendar management folder. Then click on "Manage Calendar". Find the event on the calendar by clicking on the highlighted date. Then click on the event's time (looks like a blue link) and a pop-up window will appear and enable you to edit the event.

16) Can my Guest book message go to more than one email address?
No. Anyone who has access to the Webmedley Management Console can access stored Guest Book messages in the Manage Guest Book section of the site. However, the copies of Guest Book entries can only be forwarded to one email address.
