Managing the WebMedley Calendar
One of the WebMedley features that can make your life a little easier is the dynamic calendar. This feature allows you to add events to the calendar from the WebMedley management console, and they will be displayed in an interactive calendar on your Web site. Here is a walk-through on managing your WebMedley calendar.
Once logged into WebMedley, locate the folder (not the Web page) that says "Calendar". You will see the option "manage calendar". When you click on "manage calendar" your screen on the right will display the calendar and allow you to manage the
events.
You can select the day you want to add events to by simply clicking on the appropriate day in the calendar on the right side of your screen. Buy using the pull down menus, you can also pick a date from another month or even another year! After slecting the date you would like to add an even to, you will see the date displayed in a seperate box beneath the calendar area.
Now you can add an event to that day by clicking
, or if this event will occur on a regular basis for a known period of time, you can click
. A box will appear where you add the start time, and end time for that event, as well as a text box where you can describe the event. If the event has no end time, select "open ended event". The text box is similar to the editable box that appears when you click on "edit this page" in WebMedley.

When finished, be sure to click on the
button.
Note: if your event requires more information than the text box attractively allows, create a hyperlink to another detached Web page which explains the event more, or perhaps contains a brochure or signup form to download.
