Question of the Week
Q.) Why is there blank space to the right of my content, and why can't I put any information over there?

Depending on your screen resolution, you may or may not see extra space on your Web site.  If your Screen size is set to 800 x 600 (which currently is the industry standard), then you will probably never see extra space on a Web site.  However, if your screen size is set higher (to 1024 x 768 for example), your screen is bigger and will show some space that is normally not seen by those with 800 x 600 screens.  Currently it is customary to make Web sites no more than 800 pixels wide, allowing for those who have screen sizes set to that, to see everything on the screen without having to scroll horizontally.  Many Web sites accommodate for this, including WebMedley, MSN, and Yahoo.
