Hints and Tips - Creating Links

What is a Web site without links?  It's little more than an online flyer.  Links provide visitors to your site the ability to jump from page to page, following the trail of that which interests them most.  Links are also a key element in making your Web site engaging and interactive.  In fact, "hyperlinks" (where the term 'links' originates) were a technology originally designed to provide an instant interactive 'glossary' effect in electronic documents.  It was only later adapted for use on the Internet.  You will want to scatter links throughout your site and WebMedley makes it easy.  Here's how...

Question of the Week - Saving Your Work

Q.) "I tried saving my content but it won't save.  What am I doing wrong?"

A.) A simple mistake people commonly make when trying to save changes to their WebMedley pages is to use the wrong "save" button when trying to save their pages.   The button you should use is located on your toolbar (See below).

The button many people get this confused with is the 'Save This Page' button located in the Management Console Screen (See below).

The 'Save This Page' button only saves the layout changes (such as template choice, headers, color scheme, page title, etc.) that you can make on the screen where it is located.  It will not change any content changes to the web page such as adding or editing text and images on the page.
