1) I tried saving my content but it won't save.  What am I doing wrong?

You must use the "Save" button on the Editor toolbar to save any content changes.  It looks like a floppy disk icon.  The File -> Save on the browser or the "Save this Page" button on the Management console will not save content.

2) How do I transfer my domain from my old website to WebMedley?

You will need to have access to the account management for your domain, either through Versign (http://www.netsol.com) or the company from which you purchased the domain originally.  An authorized person (usually listed as the owner or a main contact for the domain's account) will have to make the change.  You should be able to transfer the domain either through a website account management area or through a fax request.  To transfer the domain, you must change the Domain Name Servers (DNS).  The DNS for Webmedley are: NS1.WEBMEDLEYSB.COM and NS2.WEBMEDLEYSB.COM.  You will also need to notify Customer Support when the domain has been transferred so it can be mapped and set live.

3) Do I have to save a copy of my website on my computer?  Where is all my info stored?

Your website information is stored on our servers.  Webmedley is a web-based management system, so whenever you save changes to your website they are uploaded to our servers and stored there.  There is no need for you to copy your website content onto your computer.

4) What do I do once I've put my site together - how do I get it on the web?

If you have a domain name (purchased when you signed up for Webmedley or transferred from an old site) and have loaded content onto your pages, you will simply need to Publish your site.  In the Management Console, click on the "Home" link in the top right corner of the screen.  Then on the Home screen you will see a grey "Publish" button.  Simply click the button and all the content saved in Webmedley will appear on your live website.

5) My site does not seem to be updating after I publish it - how can I see the updates?

You may be viewing an old version of the site.  First try refreshing your screen (Click F5), and also be sure to periodically clear out your temporary Internet files.  In Internet Explorer, go to Tools -> Internet Options.  Then click the "Delete Files" button under the Temporary Internet Files heading.  This deletes saved versions of web pages you have previously viewed.  You may also consider clicking the "Clear History" button under the History heading.  This deletes the list of web sites visited from the Explorer browser.

6) Why can't I see the changes I made on my site?

Changes that you have saved on your Edit screens in the Management Console will not appear on your live site until you publish.  Click on the "Home" link in the top right corner of the Management Console to return to the Home screen, and then click the "Publish" button.

7) I put a picture on my site but it doesn't show up when I publish.  What did I do wrong?

You may not have loaded your image into the Media Library.  If you simply cut and paste an image onto your web page, it will not appear when you publish.  Also, if your image is a file type other than .gif or .jpg, the image will not appear.

8) When I tried to work on a few pages, some of the information got mixed up.  What did I do wrong?

Most likely, you attempted to move from one page's Edit View to another without closing the Edit screen.  Only one Edit View can be open at a time.  Be sure to always close the Edit View when you have completed revisions on one page before moving onto another page.
