How do I let other people in the church work on the website? I tried to create a new user and was told 'That name already exists' but I don't have any users with that name.
Can I change my user name and password?

1) How do I let other people in the church work on the website?

Each person working on your website will need a user name and password to work in the Webmedley Management Console.  Each user must be then added to a group and assigned permissions on the specific pages that you want them to access.  To add an administrator, simply add the user name to the Administrator group - no permissions will need to be assigned.

2) Can I change my user name and password?

Yes.  In the Webmedley Management Console, click on the Users and Groups folder, then select Users.  Click on your name on the list of users and you will be able to change your user name and password.  All user names and passwords must be at least 3 characters long, no spaces.

3) I tried to create a new user and was told 'That name already exists' but I don't have any users with that name.

All of our client user names are stored in the same system, so although the name may not be used within your account, the name may have been taken by someone else in our client system.  Simply select a new name (the more original, the less likely it is to be in the system - avoid using simply first names) and complete the User fields.
